The Ecosmart Mimosa 40 is handcrafted from premium Fluid™ Concrete with a compact base recessed into the centre, giving the visual impression of a floating table. A round-shaped stainless steel AB8 burner sits at the heart of the table, delivering a clean 360-degree view of the flame.
The Mimosa 40 uses environmentally friendly bioethanol — no fumes, no smoke, no soot to clean up. You can enjoy hours of warmth and ambience without the mess of wood or the cost of gas installation.
Measuring 1016mm x 1016mm x 351mm, the Mimosa 40 is sized as a true coffee/lounge table — low, wide, and inviting. Pair it with the optional glass cover plate to convert it into a flat coffee table when the fire isn't in use.

Ecosmart fire tables are cheap to run. While a gas fireplace requires professional (and expensive) servicing every 12–18 months, the Mimosa 40 requires very little maintenance.
The Ecosmart Mimosa 40 holds up to 8L of bioethanol fuel, meaning you can enjoy the ambience and warming flame for up to 11 hours depending on the efficiency setting and conditions. The Mimosa 40 will heat an area of up to 60m² — the equivalent of a large family living area.
Fluid™ Concrete uses a specialised moulding process that adds multiple layers of structural mesh with a unique slurry to produce a high-quality concrete that is relatively lightweight yet incredibly strong. So strong, in fact, that you can drop a 1kg steel ball on it from a height of 1.5m with no visible damage to the concrete.
Fluid™ Concrete is also environmentally friendly and made from 95% recycled natural materials. It can withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and long UV exposure, making it the perfect material for an indoor/outdoor fire table.

An ethanol fire table is a cost-effective, mess-free, versatile alternative to a wood or gas fireplace. Easy to set up, simple to use, relocatable anywhere — and the Mimosa 40 gives you a real piece of outdoor furniture to gather around.
Ethanol fuel is poured into and contained within the table's stainless steel burner. The flame is ignited in a matter of seconds by dipping the lighting rod into the burner's fuel, then lighting the end of the 'dipped' rod with the firelighter (like a candle), and then finally dipping the 'ignited' rod back into the stainless steel burner to ignite the contained fuel.
Absolutely — these are real fires. The ventless design means the heat produced stays in the room or outdoor area rather than escaping up a chimney or flue like a traditional fireplace.
