Shipping & Handling

    Here's a few shipping details at Outdoor Living Essentials..

    We work with a variety freight companies that specialise in servicing different parts of Australia, so we can ensure you have the cheapest shipping rates with the fastest delivery.

    Additionally, all of our products are shipped from Australian warehouses, so you don't have to worry about long international shipping times and annoying delays.

    How much does my shipping cost? Simply add the items to the cart, head to the cart page and then enter your postcode in the shipping calculator. (Very remote postcodes may incur additional costs.)

    Do we have free shipping? Yes, for some brands. Eg. All Ecosmart Fire Ethanol Fireplace/Pit range are FREE shipping Australia wide.

    What is the bulk item fee?(ONLY VALID for bulky products that show a 'Delivery Option' above the Add to Cart button). Unfortunately freight companies have added additional fees for bulk items delivered to residential addresses. These fees are on top of normal freight charges.

    Can I avoid this bulk item fee?Yes absolutely, We simply deliver your goods to your local deport or a commercial premises (not a home office or residential premises) that has a loading-dock or forklift.

    How does the order process work?

    • A thank you email will be send to you right after we receive your online order and have pre-authorised your credit-card. Please take a moment to confirm all the information sent to your email is correct.

    • Please note, we require 24 hours to process your order with our warehouse. If your order was placed on a weekend or public holiday, then it will be process the next business day.

    • Orders in stock will have their full payment processed, and we may contact you to organise delivery. Please check our shipping terms so you are familiar with our conditions to deliver your order.

    • Occasionally goods are out of stock, if so your payment won't be processed and you will be contacted by us immediately.

    • Once goods have been dispatched, a unique tracking number/s, will be supplied via email so you can follow your delivery until it reaches your door.

    How does the shipping & handling work?

    • All orders are delivered between Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

    • Our standard delivery provides ground delivery to the easiest access point on your property and does not include inside delivery, package removal, or assembly. For larger items the shipping costs includes a tail-lift and two man delivery. (For non-standard delivery please call or email for a quote)

    • Standard delivery is 2 - 5 business days for QLD, NSW & VIC shipments. And 5 - 7 business days for WA, ACT & TAS shipments from the date of dispatch.

    • Standard delivery times are only estimates and they can change due to unforeseen circumstances, of if there is a public holiday or weekend between the order and delivery dates.

    • You can request a preferred day for delivery in the 'Delivery Instructions For Seller' during the checkout. Orders that request a specific time will incur additional costs.

    • You will be required to be home to sign for the delivery. If you are not home to sign for the delivery, there will be an additional cost for re-deliveries.

    • If you cannot be home to receive the delivery, you need to opt for Authority to Leave Item(s) during the checkout. If you opt for an Authority to Leave Item(s), Outdoor Living Essentials and/or the Freight Company cannot be help responsible for any goods that goes missing after delivery to your shipping address.

    • Any smaller items (e.g: outdoor covers) may be shipped inside the packaging of a larger item in the same order.

    • Orders that contain products from multiple brands and/or suppliers will have multiple deliveries. These products will be delivered separately as they are shipped from different warehouse. You will be supplied with a tracking number for each delivery as soon as the order is dispatched.

    • Unfortunately drivers will not call before the delivery.

    • Orders with incorrectly supplied shipping & delivery information will result in additional fees.
